Thanks! This will be a short visit … our son lives in Denver and we will probably just do some day hikes around Boulder. Did Mount Sanitas and some trails near Chautauqua last fall.

Yes, darn those pesky jobs, getting in the way of travelling whenever we want. Too bad we have to pay for them some way. Let us know what parts of Colorado you’re visiting and we can make some other trail suggestions.

We nearly regretted a lake getaway this past weekend, too, when outgoing traffic made our trip twice as long as it normally is. But we did find some peace and quiet once there, and we planned the homeward trip well to avoid the same problem! When you work, you kind of have to deal with travel on the holiday weekends sometimes, unfortunately!
