We love seeing different locations around the world and their images are definitely framed in our minds. However, as we were growing up, we used to see images of famous locations and not all of them were taken in color. Does seeing a landmark like the Eiffel Tower in black and white take away from the beauty or sense of awe? We have shared some of our favorite landmark photographs previously, but here we take the same images and are sharing them in both color as well as black and white. When you look through the images, does your opinion change of the landmark based on whether it is in color or not?
Oh what a fun post for this week. 😀 😀
Love your B & W pics.
Thank you 🙂
Black and white or color? They each evoke a different emotion. Puffy white clouds against blue sky and green grass invite me into the photo while the spectrum of grays in black and white keep me at a distance.
They definitely create different emotions
Great idea and very thought provoking! I’m not sure. Both pictures of each set are beautiful, but for sure the ones that would have flowers or blue sky might make me smile a bit more. And although the Sphinx one has muted shades it just doesn’t have the same effect in black and white.
Agree, colorful flowers and blue skies make everyone smile 🙂 Yes, the black and white of the Sphinx definitely has a different effect. It was interesting for us to compare the two.
