There are a lot of photos that we have taken while looking over steep edges. Considering that we have a fear of heights, looking through the lens and zooming at objects in the distance can often be disorienting. For this week’s challenge, we decided to share this photo taken in Ronda, Spain, of the houses built on the edge of the large crevasse that separates the old and new sides of the city.
We took this photo of Alhambra in Granada, Spain, a couple of years ago. It wasn’t our intention to frame the building with the bushes, all we were really trying was to position ourselves where the sun wouldn’t blur the shot. So, this is our entry for this week’s photo challenge, frame.
We really enjoyed walking the tiny shops in the resort town of Marbella, Spain. For Cee’s Which Way Challenge this week, we decided to share a couple of photos of the narrow streets with the gorgeous tile sidewalks. We ended up buying a couple of Christmas ornaments while we were there, but tapas at the Café-Bar El Estrecho was definitely the highlight. Since the heat can be unbearable at times in southern Spain, the shade of the narrow streets can be the only way to escape the searing sun. Going to Marbella might be all about watching the rich and famous relax on the beach, but walking the shops and window shopping has its own rewards.
