Birds of a Feather

We knew exactly which photo we were going to use when we saw that Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge for this week was feathers. Driving down Death Road in Bolivia was a very intense experience, one which we aren’t likely to forget any time soon. In the middle of the trip, we passed through a small village, really just a couple of huts. Running across the road in front of us was a chicken, no surprise there, but accompanying him was a turkey. Somehow, the thought of a turkey in the jungles of Bolivia had not crossed our minds, let alone that he should appear to be friends with the roosters and chickens that he lived with.

Never Let Go

When we saw that the topic for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge for this week was hands, a couple of thoughts came to mind. First, we don’t take too many pictures of our own hands unless we happen to be holding something of interest, usually a glass of wine ;). Secondly, that we hold hands whenever we are walking together. When we were in Spain, some school girls chuckled when they saw holding hands and commented to each other that they thought that we were “cute”. So, instead of using a photo of us holding hands, we looked through our pictures and tried to find some images that included hands.

Sitting Pretty

We decided to head to the beaches of the Dominican Republic for this week’s Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge – Legs and Feet. It seems to be a pretty common fad these days to take photos with your legs dangling in the foreground of a beautiful landscape shot. We don’t do that normally ourselves, but we did actually take a picture of our feet with the Caribbean Ocean in the background when we were in Punta Cana a little less than two years ago.

Not the greatest of photos, but when visiting the temples in India, you must take your shoes off, so here we are in a temple in Chennai.
