Do You Believe?

When we went to Roswell, New Mexico, many years ago, one of the fun things that we saw were the road signs for alien crossings. Obviously the town is making the most of its reputation of having had a UFO crash in the vicinity and the supposed cover-up by the government. Whether you believe in extraterrestrial beings or not, Roswell was actually a fun place to visit and we happened to be there during their UFO convention. For this Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week, signs, we decided to use a photo of one of the signs that we bought while were there.  You can read more about our trip to New Mexico here if you would like.

Walking the Streets of Chicago

Keeping with the theme of Chicago, we decided to use this photo from our trip this week for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Bridges. The streets of downtown Chicago, what is commonly called “The Loop” because it is the area inside of the elevated subway train tracks (The “L”). There are also several fun bridges that cross the Chicago River as well as a river walk. We took this picture as we crossed one of the bridges and thought that it captured the city’s architecture perfectly.

Just for the fun of it, we’ve also included this nighttime photo of a bridge in Paris that we really like.

Hiking in the Rockies

One of our favorite hobbies is to get out into nature and to go on a hike. If we could, we would probably go hiking every weekend, but unfortunately life doesn’t always cooperate. Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week is all about Walking, Indoors and Outdoors, so we thought we’d take everyone on a hike with us. We’ve put together a series of photos from a recent hike that shows the various transitions of the trail as it wound its way into the mountains.  If you use your imagination, you can feel the mountain breeze, hear the chirping of the birds, and smell the trees and wildflowers.  So, come along with us as we walk along a single trail in the Colorado Rockies.
